Tell us where you are speaking next

Hi All

We want this Forum Oxford to be a place where we can find out about each others' recent accomplishments and upcoming opportunities. So we want to hear about your latest services, your published works etc. We also have many interesting people already here, that we may want to meet in person. So lets start this thread here, to promote our upcoming next speakerships at public conferences. I'll start with a couple of mine to get this going:

During November I'll be delivering a keynote at Portoroz Slovenia on 8 November, then be chairing at Connector in Helsinki Finland on 9 November, and am ending the month with a keynote at the 3G event on Nov 29 in South Korea.

Thanks for the idea, Tomi - I am perhps the first to notice this, if somewhat late :)

While the thread was still fresh, just a few days ago, I spoke at the IIR conference 'Customer Segmentation in Telecoms' on some aspects of Needs Segmentation. I also delivered a one-day workshop for many of the conference participants on Segmentation Principles and Practical Guidelines.

Next week (17-18th November) I am speaking in Barcelona at our own event organised by the local PRISM office, conducting a 2-day workshop on Stakeholder Management Methodologies and Tools, with a focus (as usual) on the 'stakeholder' entity Customers, but also on Employees.

In December (16th) I will be presenting a research report in Cardiff at an event organised by the Welsh Contact Centre Forum.

In my somewhat hectic calendar a few more dtes are awaiting confirmation, so I expect this space to become a 'live update' dynamic area. Looking forward to see everyone's activities!

Hi All,

I will be chairing and doing a keynote as part of the UIQ Developer Track at 3GSM in Barcelona this February.

The developer track will be an all day event within the 3GSM show and is intended to provide mobile application developers with technical information to support development for the UIQ 3 platform.

Equally important is the support that we, and other members of our ecosystem (such as Sony Ericsson), can provide for developers in helping advise on the types of applications that are interesting to consumers - or even as vendors as part of a bundle package that might come with a phone or service contract.

After the presentations (and the obligatory panel session) attendees will be invited to network (and share a drink or two) back at the UIQ Technology stand.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Miami Digital Music Conference, Nov. 17th, 2006
by William Volk - Friday, 3 November 2006, 8:27 PM
I will be presenting at the Digital Music Conference on Nov. 17th

Bringing the Heat to the Screen: Marketing and Sales in the Digital World
Ready access to email, the Internet and a mobile phone in the pocket of almost every digital music fan, there are more ways to market and sell to fans than ever. With 2.4 Billion mobile handsets and more than a billion users of the Internet, the potential to narrowly distribute and market to the music fan is unprecedented - but still largely untapped. This panel focuses on how companies doing business in the music industry can unlock the potential of mobile and the Internet to serve as the primary marketing and sales channels for music.
